    Diet, Exercise & Lifestyle

I try to always eat a balanced diet. I never try to change it too much. I just try to eat a little bit of everything – moderation is key with diet. I’ve always taken care of myself since I was young. I’ve always been active and eaten really well. I don’t think it’s changed much. I’ve just gotten more physical as I’ve gotten older.

Wellness is associated with happiness. When you’re happy, you’re feeling good in your mind and body. That ties into being healthy, eating well, and exercising regularly. It also ties into being excited about things – like getting up in the morning and having a healthy breakfast.

    Stella Maxwell’s Food Diary

    Protein Shakes:
Fresh juice is my favorite, but I do love a tasty protein shake. There’s some really good vegan protein shakes you can get, and I’m a big fan of matcha lattes instead of having espresso. I’ll make one with protein powder and some almond milk. Sometimes I’ll add some chia seeds and cinnamon, just to make it seem kind of pleasant.

    Breakfast
For breakfast, I like scrambled eggs, avocado, oatmeal—I really love oatmeal—or granola and yogurt. Lunch would be a piece of fish like salmon and then maybe some salad on the side—today we had chicken and salad. And then dinner, probably the same thing—a protein and a green. For snacks, I like nuts and those dried peas. They’re really addictive.

    Eating Right For Sun Protection
Eating right is a natural defense against the sun. Sweet potatoes, dark chocolate, pomegranates, leafy greens, almonds, and teas all help against the sun. Otherwise, 100 SPF will do.

    Dream Food Day
Dream food day, hmm – maybe a hamburger and fries, but honestly, it’s not really a dream because I tend to eat what I want to for the most part.

    Supplements
I also take wellness pills all the time. I think they boost your immune system and keep you on top of your game. They’re all-natural vitamins.

    Exercise

    Workout Routine and Lifestyle

I work out an hour a day. I kind of do it whenever—I’m not picky on what time I work out. I work out as often as I can, in general, four to five times a week. Change your routine regularly because your body gets used it, and it won’t benefit you after a while. Mix it up – legs, arms and butt – so you work your total body and stay balanced.

I like doing weights and cardio and some jump rope. I do hikes; I do swimming.

    Pre-VS Workout Routine

When I first started working with Victoria’s Secret, I wanted to get stronger. That was something I wanted to build on and really be as strong and powerful as I could be. Working with Victoria’s Secret, I started really thinking about my body and my muscles.

    Favorite Exercise

I like to do varied exercises, even just going for a hike with my friends or taking my dog for a walk, then going to see my trainer or going to yoga. It’s a dream of mine to be a yoga teacher one day.

    Feel Good Exercise

I love yoga. I’ll film a class with my teacher, bring my mat with me, and just do it anywhere.

    Travel Essentials

When I’m traveling, I always make sure I pack all my Victoria’s Sport. I bring my yoga mat sometimes with me. Yoga is a great thing to do because you can just practice it by yourself in your hotel. My friend showed me how to do it the first time. She had a private class at her house and I joined in. It’s an hour of time when you’re focusing on your breathing and your body. You take yourself out of whatever is going on in your life and spend that time focusing on your body and your thoughts.

    Skin Care Routine

    Overall Skin Care Routine

Drink water and sleep a lot. I sleep a lot. I make sure I get enough sleep. I try to get as much as I can. If I have some time on a plane or after work, I’ll knuckle down and read a book or watch a movie and that helps me unwind to go to sleep.

I try to just, you know, make sure I wash my face in the morning and at night before I sleep.

    Morning Skin Care Routine

My morning routine usually takes about 30 minutes. I start by cleansing my face with the Hourglass Equilibrium Rebalancing Cream Cleanser. It’s a very quick and easy-to-use cream-based cleanser that really cleans my pores. Cleansing is another key part of my routine because it serves to refresh my skin and wake me up! It’s so important to find a formula that cleans and balances your skin. Next step (because I have naturally dry skin), I use the Hourglass Equilibrium Restoring Essence – it tops up my skin’s hydration levels before I apply moisturiser.

If I’ve had a bad night’s sleep, Hourglass Equilibrium Intensive Hydrating Eye Balm is my ultimate secret weapon. It immediately smoothes, soothes and plumps – it’s a life saver! Sometimes I’ll also use a face roller as it helps to depuff and get my blood flowing. I’ve been told that sleeping with a silk pillowcase and sleep mask helps to keep your skins hydrated and prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

    Evening Skin Care Routine

I try to just, you know, make sure I wash my face in the morning and at night before I sleep. I like to scrub everything down because I’ve usually got so much makeup and body makeup and products on. I have to shower every day.

I really like Bioderma. I really like to wipe my face with it, like, every night.

    Self-made Face Mask

Sometimes, when I’m just watching TV at home, I cut some aloe vera leaves and use the inside gel part as a mask. It’s incredible how much comes out of every cut – you can just do a little slice. I buy the leaves at health food stores. You can get single whole leaves, and they kind of last you forever.

    Make Up

    Basic Face Routine

I always wear my Lip Lights gloss from the Karl Lagerfeld and ModelCo line. I like this brownish pink called St. Tropez Sunset. It’s like a take on your own lip colour but not too heightened. If I’m going out, I do the red.

    Hair Care

For me, off-duty hair means no products. I have people touching my hair almost every day, so when I’m not working, I try to let my hair relax.

I like Oribe shampoo and conditioner. I also have some essential oils that I occasionally use for hydrating. I find brushing your hair each evening and massaging your scalp are great hair secrets.
