    Shapeshifter

“When I’m in front of the camera, just like an actress, I’m playing a role. One day I’m sexy, the next I’m wild, the next I’m tough. But in everyday life, I’m the tomboy girl.”

    Diet, Exercise & Lifestyle

    Diet

    Eating Habits

“I don’t call my nutritional regimen a diet, but rather healthy eating habits, so I can maintain a high level of vitality and the mental clarity to have a productive and enjoyable life.”

“At our house, we try to eat organic foods that are in season and locally grown . . . We eat mostly a plant-based diet. It makes us feel good, and it also has less of an impact on the environment. We believe that by buying locally, we’ll have a better chance at getting foods that are fresh and also support local farmers.”

“Our go-to food choices are raw or lightly steamed vegetables, fruits, legumes, and whole grains, with the occasional small piece of meat or seafood added into the mix.”

    Breakfast Routine

“The first thing I do when I wake up is I just have a lukewarm water with lemon squeezed in. It helps wake up your body and your metabolism, and it just kind of gets things started. I wake up at 5:30 in the morning because nobody needs anything from me at 5:30 and I can take care of myself … it’s like charging my batteries. I think it’s important to understand that it’s not just one thing. It’s not a quick fix. We gotta do the work.”

“As I’m making the breakfasts for my kids, I usually have whatever they don’t eat. I always say being a mom is like eating the rest of everybody’s food. It’s crazy. I stopped making myself big breakfasts because they always leave stuff on their plates,” she told the outlet. “I don’t like wasting food, so I’m cleaning plates.”

“The most important thing for me is to have enough time to move my body every day to meditate. If I did more weight training, then I’ll definitely have scrambled eggs or hardboiled eggs because I want to have that protein.”

Fasting Until Lunch Time (2x A Week)

“I always feel incredibly energized from this mini fast. It takes a lot of energy for our bodies to digest the food we eat, and I think it’s a good idea to sometimes give our digestive system a rest.”

    Small Portions

“I just serve small portions that I know will satisfy me, without leaving me feeling overfed or tired. I also feel lighter, more vital, and ready to tackle the day.”

    Guilty Pleasure

“My ultimate guilty pleasure is dark chocolate.”

    The Big No Nos

    White Sugar

“To me, white sugar means poison. There are so many other ways you can sweeten your things that are delicious. Honey, maple syrup, dates.”

    Fast Food

“The only thing I felt like doing was curling up in a ball and falling asleep after eating fast food.”

    Caffeine

“After too much caffeine, I would start to fall apart both physically and emotionally.”Once in a while, I might still drink one or two small cups of coffee, usually if I’m flying overnight and then going directly to a studio. The difference is that now I understand that caffeine is a powerful upper, and I treat it as such.”

    Exercise

    Yoga

“Many years ago, after going through one of the most difficult times in my life. I had severe panic attacks, and I didn’t know what else to do. It was kind of like the last resource. I immersed myself in the very deep process of getting to know myself better. With the help of yoga and meditation, I came out of that period stronger and happier, knowing that no matter how difficult challenges appear in the moment, they always bring with them an opportunity for transformation. Now, it’s the necessary “me time”. “I feel like if I can take care of myself; if I can put the oxygen mask on me first and do something for me first, then I’m a much better mom; I’m happier.”

    Meditation

“Meditation helped me find strength and balance during some of the most challenging periods in my life. I feel like I’m playing catch-up when I don’t. It is so serene that I can be in a state of meditation while practising. Plus a gentle practice works best for me since I do everything else in my life with intensity.”

    Outdoor Exercise

“I love any type of exercise that I can do outdoors; horseback riding, biking, and skiing are some of my favourite ways to stay active and connect with nature. Not only do these activities help me stay in shape, but they help in giving me clarity and perspective. Being active fuels my body, mind, and soul. It just makes me happy.”

    Gisele Bundchen’s Beauty Secrets

    Skin Care Basics

“I think we are what we eat. And that food should be our medicine. It is very important to drink plenty of water and eat food that comes from the earth, like fruits and vegetables, rather than processed food. All of this is reflected directly on the skin.”

“Water is your best ally to have beautiful skin, so you need to drink plenty of it. I also rely on electrolytes, which help better absorb water and increase hydration tenfold. I take a drink with a lemon flavor which is a very good bonus. Rest is also essential since a lack of sleep is marked immediately on the features of the face.”

    Morning Skin Care Routine

“In the morning, I cleanse my skin, I spray my face with an aromatherapy mist in which I incorporate different ingredients as needed, whether it is rose or lavender. I apply the serum from the Capture Totale line by Dior, Super Potent Serum, because it leaves my skin healthy, hydrated, and plump. Living in Florida, with humid air, I don’t really need a moisturizer besides the serum.”

    Night Skin Care Routine

“In the evening, on the other hand, I clean my skin, sometimes I exfoliate it, then I draw my serum, a moisturizer, from time to time a mask, an eye contour, and I’m ready to go to bed. It is very important to put on your moisturizer at night so that the skin has time to absorb it.”

    Coconut Oil

“I always remove makeup with organic coconut oil (the same one I use for cooking) because it is, in my opinion, the easiest way to remove all traces of makeup. I put it all over on my face, remove it with a cotton ball and then rinse it all off with lukewarm water. Then I intensely nourish my skin with a good moisturizer, before applying makeup. This is the secret to making it healthier and smoother. And of course, drink lots of water!”

    Less Is More

“I’ve always felt better with less makeup. I just feel more like myself. I was kind of like a tomboy when I was a kid. Messy hair … I’m like a nature girl. Less is best for me.”

    Dior Super Potent Serum

“I was blown away by the serum because, after only a week or so of using it daily, I started seeing results. The first change was how glowy my complexion looked. The tone had evened out, and my skin looked so healthy and plump.”

    Go Natural

“I hydrate my skin, a lot. You’ll only want the best stuff, and to me, natural (formulas) are best. You don’t want to put all that chemical stuff on your skin. It’s important to let your skin breathe. If I’m not working, or if I’m working from home, I don’t wear any makeup. I just hydrate my skin a lot. Even if I’m working, I wear minimal makeup, too.”

    Clean Your Skin

“Always clean your skin. I will never go to bed with makeup on. I’ll take off the makeup with organic coconut oil – the ones that you use for cooking, and makeup comes off easy that way. Then, I wash it with warm water, and I’ll put on toner, serum, moisturiser and eye cream.”

    Adopt Your Skin Care Routine

“You have different problems at different ages. When I was a teenager, I got pimples. I don’t have them anymore, but I do feel my skin feels drier. It’s like you can do less when you’re 20, and get away with it. I was only putting cream on my face when I’m working, before makeup. Nothing else. Now, I definitely need have to use moisturiser. I’m more diligent, and committed to taking care of my skin.”

    Hair Care: Conditioner

“After I apply conditioner, I pass my fingers through my hair and let it dry naturally. Every once in a while I comb my hair in the shower, but I don’t comb or brush after that.”

AMAZING Cheat Sheet for Smokey Eye Makeup!

    Get Those Smokey Eyes

“If you’re wearing smoky eye makeup, a little beige or gold pencil on the inner eye corners will open up the area, but you only want to do it if the shadow is really dark. Otherwise, light pencil makes your eyes look too far apart, like a fish. And I put black mascara on my top and bottom lashes because I have tiny little hamster eyes. With mascara, they seem larger.”

    Supplements

“I feel my hair has been through it all – from being styled more than ten times in one day to enjoying the sun and surf with my children – and Pantene has helped to keep it healthy with every wash, no matter what the day may bring. I love that Pantene not only stands for healthy, strong hair, but also encourages women to give back specifically through a program like Pantene Beautiful Lengths.”

    Make Up Routine

“I don’t even put foundation on my cheeks. I just put a little bit here (taps around her nose and around the mouth). And I like to put it around the eyes, especially the edge. Tap it in and then add a little on the neck.”

“I love this sheer colour stick; I like the sun-kissed look so I put it on my cheekbones and then the pink on the apple of the cheeks.”

“My mum always wore mascara and blush and funnily enough those are my favourite things.”

    Everything Has A Price
