Moderation Is The Key
Christy Turlington is a fan of moderation. She is not someone who starves or stuffs herself. Turlington focuses on eating organic whole foods and eats more vegetables than meat. Christy Turlington has made it her mission to eat cleaner, so a major part of her diet is eating raw foods.
In general, she follows a vegetarian diet and eats very little meat. The supermodel stopped eating meat before her pregnancy, but she felt her body was craving protein, so she added it back into her diet.
Christy usually eats a salad and adds a little meat and poultry to it. She is very strict about the quality of the meat. She only eats meat from organic or grass-fed animals.
The supermodel revealed to Harpers Baazar that two of her favourite foods are avocados and sweet potatoes. She particularly likes avocados with lemon, olive oil and a little sea salt and sweet potatoes with tahini.

Christy Turlington loves to work out. She started practising yoga at the age of 18. She says that yoga connects her with her religion and calms her down, as she meditates after every yoga session.
“The very first kind of yoga that I was introduced to was Kundalini yoga, that’s not the yoga that I practice anymore, but I remember the very first mantra that I learned, and I would use that when I would travel and be jet lagged—because you always had to kind of get up, roll off of a plane, and go straight to work in my years” Turlington told Vogue, “—so just having those breathing exercises to be able to get sleep and get rest, it was so essential through all of those years.

Running
Another of her passions is running. Turlington told Runner’s World that running, especially running long distances, is almost like meditation for her. She loves to lace up her running shoes in the morning because it gives her more energy for the day.
She always runs without music in her ears as she loves to switch off and take some time out.
When she was younger, Turlington also practised horseback riding, softball and soccer.
Overall Fitness
It is important for her to mention that she was a heavy smoker in her youth. Although Christy was a heavy smoker, she always did sports and was active.

Turlington loves Avocados. She could eat them all year round. When she is in tropical areas on vacation she enjoys ordering guacamole.
